6,1:2 Aquae Angae

The gap in the line above Aquae Angae, which is quite close to the coast, is difficult to explain. Talbert 1399 convincingly proposes it derives from a duplicated itinerary passing through the coastal town of Temese, but with other intermediate stops. The chart-maker has not recognized this duplication and has placed the second Temese above the line of mountains.
