Documenting the graphic anomalies in the Tabula Peutingeriana, using emendations to show why each is unexpected, and exploring what such flaws may tell us about the chart's late antique history. A companion to the Animated Edition.
1,5:3 Indesina
The missing line Nasic - Ad Fines - Indesina is perhaps of no great consequence: it has every appearance of being a reader's addition based on local knowledge, rather than any part of the grand concept for the Tabula Peutingeriana. Nevertheless the case can be made for its inclusion as a thin black line, as entered here. Talbert 903, 904 and 905 declares great surety on the matter.
